Preventive measures

Before Paloma's first case of COVID-19, President and General Secretary Aidan McGrath along with the approval of others in the Communist Party ban Christians from attending worship and masses on open days in Paloma. The decision was met after the United States officially confirmed its first death from the coronavirus, a man in his 50's from Kings County, Washington State.[1] The decision was met with outrage from Catholics among others.[2] Later on 11 March, a state of emergency was declared[3] as two cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Michigan.[4]

In early 2022 the Paloman government with the rise of cases placed an order for the Chinese made KN95 respirators to be handed out to Paloman citizens for free in Paloma City.
