"Casa Amarela" (Sung by Onildo Barbosa)

"Casa Amarela" (English: Yellow House) is the unoficial anthem of the Empire of Kanindé. It was adopted in 2023 to gradually replace the previous hymn.

The lyrics were written by Antônio Jocélio originally coming from an album of songs composed in the State of Ceará by the singer. The Lyrics of the Anthem have slight alterations to Jocélio's original lyrics to adapt to the reality of the micronation.

History

In mid-2023 there were doubts about the Anthem of Kanindé. It was just a melody without lyrics and therefore, there was no symbology for the entity. After remembering a song that played a lot on the radio stations near the Guaramiranga Palace, Emperor Felipe I decided to adopt the song "Casa Amarela" as an unofficial anthem, due to its lyrics, which talked about the departure of a boy from his original home to another land and the longing for that place, which can no longer be returned because it is no longer part of his family.

Lyrics

I.
Ainda me lembro aquela casa onde eu nasci
Onde vivi com os meus irmãos e o meus pais
Muitos conselhos de mamãe eu recebi
Ela ali me ajudou-me até de mais
Era amarela aquela casa ainda me lembro
Quando chegava Dezembro
Mamãe renovava ela
E ai mandava convidar o nosso povo
Pra passar o ano novo na nossa casa amarela

II.
Tive vontade de deixar o meu sertão
na intenção de conhecer o meu país
mamãe chorosa deu-me a santa permissão
Dizendo Deus faça você ser bem feliz
tomei a bênção e meus irmãos abracei
Me despedi e chorei
Debruçado em uma janela
Sai vagando noutra terra diferente
Nunca mais vi minha gente
Da nossa casa amarela

III.
Tive vontade de voltar pra meu lugar
Para morar na mesma casa onde morei
Essa saudade me convida pra voltar
A mesma terra em que nasci e me criei
Naquela casa morar eu não posso mais
que meus irmãos e meus pais
Já não são mais donos dela
Como eu queria dessa terra um pedacinho
Pra fazer o meu ranchinho
Vizinho à casa Amarela

IV.
Naquela casa morar eu não posso mais
que meus irmãos e meus pais
Já não são mais donos dela
Como eu queria dessa terra um pedacinho
Pra fazer o meu ranchinho
Vizinho à casa Amarela

I.
I still remember that house where I was born
Where I lived with my brothers and my parents
I received a lot of advice from mom
She there helped me even more
That house was yellow, I still remember
When December came
Mom renovated it
And then he ordered to invite our people
To spend the new year in our yellow house

II.
I wanted to leave my sod
in the intention of knowing another country
tearful mother gave me holy permission
Saying God make you very happy
I took the blessing and my brothers embraced
I said goodbye and cried
Perched on a window
Go wandering in another land
I never saw my people again
From our yellow house

III.
I wanted to go back to my place
To live in the same house where I lived
This longing invites me to return
The same land where I was born and raised
I can't live in that house anymore
that my brothers and my parents
They no longer own it
How I wanted a little piece of this land
To make my ranch
Neighbor to the Yellow House

IV.
I can't live in that house anymore
that my brothers and my parents
They no longer own it
How I wanted a little piece of this land
To make my ranch
Neighbor to the Yellow House
