Cenyngs is an amt in Caproney on the central part of the island of Grattey, the most populous of all nine amts, bordering Saxland to the east, Sufrisce to the south, Folland to the west, and the Reyde strait to the north, with maritime boundaries with the Brendereys to the northwest across the Hoccumsund, and the Sylteys and Crovania cross the Reyde to the north and northeast. In 2020 it had a population of 54,125. The administrative centre of the amt and its largest city is Gerns, the second largest city in Caproney as well as the judicial capital. The ducal residence is located in Ulfdor.
