The Chair of the International Agricultural Development Pact, is the leading figure of the IADP and Chief Representative of the organization to the general public. Due to their being relatively few matters to vote upon within the Council, and no formal meeting time being arranged, the Chair for the most part ensures the well-being of the organization, it's interests, and it's proper functions.

Creation

The Chair of the International Agricultural Development Pact, was an office established by the Council officially on 17 October 2016. However, since the foundation of the organization in April, 2016, Fionnbarra Ó Cathail acted as the de facto Chair until the dissolution of the Confederation of Leylandiistan and Gurvata in late August, 2016. A few months following his departure, the member states of the organization came together to form a proper structure of the organization and appointed the first de jure Chair, Eric I of Elsanor.
