Fort Clifhold otherwise known as Clifhold, is a Shahawkian city located on the southern edge of the Ianshaemic Woods.
Etymology
Clifhold's etymological origin comes from its location. It is located on a cliffside in Ravine Ianshomo, and it was taken from the word cliffside. Its suffix, -hold, originates from the Shahawkian language, from the word "Xoлδ" (transliteration: hold), which in English translates to fort, however Clifhold has since become a city.
History
Clifhold was founded by Shahawkian Emperor Stephen I, and Chancellor of Shahawkia, Lincoln Boggs. It was established on 17 December 2022, and prior blueprints and construction had begun roughly 3 weeks prior by Stephen I and Gen. Slayden Pierce.
