The Committee on the State of the Union (Edenian: Mandatriats beche cache Condisia che cache Alianta) is the legislature of Edenia. Within Edenia it is a constitutional institution that, when combined with the office of the Emperor, the Edenian Prime Minister, and the said Prime Minister's cabinet, forms the Government of Edenia.
The Constitution gives the power to create legislation to the Committee, though the Emperor retains an unimpeachable veto over such legislation. Additionally, with the support of the Crown and following the achievement of a two-thirds vote of its membership, the Committee may pass amendments to the Constitution.
