The Constituent Assembly of Kalia (Estonian: Asutav Kogu) was the first form of parliament in the Estonian Republic of Kali. Today, the Constituent Assembly is used as a title, entitled to the three founding members of Kalia - Koit Tamme, Kert Tamme and Karl-Kristjan Sirel. The assembly served as a unicameral parliament, with all members expect the President of Kalia being part of the parliament.

History and Activity

The Constituent Assembly was founded upon the ratification of the Kalian constitution. The assembly served as the parliament, with every citizen of the country being a part of it. At first, the assembly was supposed to consist of only the three founding members, but after Hõbekuuse finally joined Kalia, it was decided that the parliament would consist of all members. On August 25th, 2022, the President of the micronation held a vote on changing the name of the assembly to the Deciding Council. The vote was never passed though, as by the time it was supposed to be passed, the assembly was abolished as a part of the era of great reformation. The assembly was replaced by the People's Council and the Council of Ministers.

The title "Constituent Assembly"

Today, the Constituent Assembly is used as a title (Asutaja (founder) [name]) for the founding members of Kalia: Koit Tamme, Kert Tamme and Karl-Kristjan Sirel. The title is seen next to the name of each member of the assembly on the Kaljakroon.
