On 12:04 PM Local Time (GMT), 13 November 2022, the Anti-Monarchy Organization (AMO), declared civil war on the Empire of Cronic, after raised tensions.
Background
The Empire (then Kingdom) of Cronic declared independence in early April 2021
On 6 November 2022, the Kingdom of Cronic turned into an empire and joined the United Empires (UE). On 10 November, a organization would be formed by 2 inland citizens called the AMO (Anti-Monarchist Organization) began threating to remove the monarchy and ignite a civil war. They gave the government and and the monarch a blackmail notice of sorts saying that they had until the 13 November at 12:00 PM to abolish the monarchy, or else Cronic would see civil war.
Unfortunately, the AMO stuck to their promise, and at 12:04 PM on the 13 November, Civil war had been ignited with an official Declaration of War being sent to HM Emperor Owen I. The Emperor showed the Declaration of War by the AMO, and announced to the Cronican Discord Server that civil war had begun. The MPA and other key individuals announced their support for Cronic during the moments afterwards, and the United Empires immediately began to provide advice and information to fight with.
On the 1 January there a cesaefire declared at 17:00 PM, it was also known that the war would end the following day at 10:00 AM.
Invasion and resistance
First Phase: Invasion and North-Eastern front (13 November – 27 November)
The first and current phase includes the initial invasion by the AMO, and Cronic's main defense on the Eastern and Northern front. The first phase consisted of mainly trench warfare and also seen both sides using airsoft rifles and guns as weaponry.
Battle of Foundation
The invasion started on 12:04 Local Time, 13 November. The first battle, the Battle of Foundation, took place with both sides using airsoft guns as weaponry. The Cronican Royal Army did lose the first battle after nearly 4 hours of fighting, but a few hours later at 19:56, President Ran DB of The Republic of Besonia announced that Besonia had declared war in support of Cronic, which was a major surprise, considering Besonia has a strict no war policy, which would be later switched to a no combat policy. Other MPA members shortly followed Besonia in Declaring War on the AMO such as Terredepaix and Paxaris, which were all members of the Micronational Peace Alliance. The United Empires has also introduced an advisor system where people can offer advice to the troops on the frontlines in Eastern Cronic. These volunteer troops are crucial to Cronic's survival. It would be in this first battle that trench warfare would first be established, many Cronican Royal Army personal believe that this is because of the size of battlefield. The Royal Cronican Army has been supported by their allies in the form of advice and manuals, this advice has been sent to The Cronican Discord Server and this advice was then sent to the troops on the frontline. This has so far not worked but the advisor system was introduced late into the Battle of Foundation so there is a chance that It may work in the next battle.
Battle of the Northern Front
The Battle of the Northern Front started 17:12, 14 November, and ended at 18:34 on the same day. This battle was fundamental to Cronic, as troops formed a 'Wall of Defenses', to prevent retreating from being needed. The advisor system proved helpful, as troops took the advice, and overpowered AMO troops, signifying a victory for the battle. The Advisor system came in clutch, Cronican Troops were seen using the tactics and advice most common of all was darth's advice to "buddy rush" the enemy positions. This worked on a number of occasions and led to Cronican forces gaining more territory that would put Cronic at an advantage. The 'Wall of Defences' is a thin layer of defences that are supposed to hold the frontline, more defences are needed but The Royal Cronican Army seemed to have run out. On the second day of the battle, Cronican Forces gained cruical lands near the Headquaters of the AMO they would not be able to hold this until renforcments arrived and this battle was eventually named as a stalemate.
Battle for Eastern Cronic
The Battle for Eastern Cronic began on the 18th November at 16:03 after a short period of peace on the battlefield however this did not change for long. It turns out the AMO had been planning a whole operation and the operation took The Cronican Royal Army by supirse. They seem to of hated the element of Trench Warfare and No Mans Land, since they began using a diffrent approach to the war and how the battles are to be fought. The AMO rebel troops began surprising the Cronican Troops with their change in tatics and rapid flanking maneuvers at first this was considered to be Guerllia Warfare however later in the day it was thought it was considered to be another tactic. However people could not understand what tactic it was and are still puzzled to this day. Unfortunately, The Wall of Defences had fallen and was breached by AMO forces. The AMO made huge amounts of advancements in the battlefield and this led to most of the No Man's Land being squeezed and the AMO continued to push the occupied areas around up until the 19 November when The Royal Cronican Army once again set up another Wall of Defences and the AMO also did the same. However the AMO's Wall of Defence was later dismantled and it is now thought they will place The Royal Cronican Army under siege, the troops on both sides have began to nickname the many Wall of Defences as the 'Wall of Failures'. The battle then shortly ended when officals began planning Operation Jet Black and the Battle for Eastern Cronic is so far the longest recored battle of the war lasting from the 18 November - 23 November.
Second Phase: Counter-offense (27 November – 1st January)
After initial AMO success against Cronic, a change on the battle field has happened, changing the type of warfare. With the second phase, Cronic has gained much of their territory back with counteroffences and ambushes being common on the battlefield especially during the nightime.
Operation Jet Black
Operation Jet Black is a major military operation that is took place between the 27 November - 30 December, consisting of a series of ambushes against the AMO during the night, aiming to take the AMO Headquarters. These ambushes have been extremely successful, and have seen Cronic gaining major territories back that were previously lost. The Main objective of the operation was not acomplished however officals were pleased with the amount of land gained back and decieded to end the operation and continue to attack the AMO.
Neuestadt shootout
On the 29 November, a shootout was reported in the Neuesadt area and on the following day it was confirmed that it was AMO activity. It is now thought that there are AMO personal in the capital of Cronic, In response to this Cronican Forces will be deployed in the capital at 1500 hours on 30 November. It started off with two citizens disscusing The AMO and the civil war when all of a sudden it got heated and both citizens began firing airsoft 1911's at each other. They were both unharmed and one citizen has been interrogated. The Cronican Goverment and other officals are keeping a close eye on this situation as it unfolds before them as well as HM Emperor Owen I.
