The Declaration of Independence, headed the Declaration of Independence of the United Federation from the United Kingdom, is a founding document of the United Federation of Aumarea. The document announces and explains the United Federation's independence from the United Kingdom and the regarding of the United Federation as a sovereign state.
The declaration was commissioned by the Federal Government of Aumarea. It was written and signed by President Luke Knight - the primary Aumarean founding father and first President of the United Federation.
The declaration is considered, alongside the Constitution, as one of the most significant parts of Aumarean politics and political history as well as one of the key Aumarean founding documents.
Background
The declaration was commissioned after two and a bit months of Aumarean development with the federal government deciding that it was time to become more serious in its successionism. The document was commissioned to state the United Federation's sovereignty and independence from the United Kingdom.
History
The declaration was commissioned, written and ratified on 27 May 2023. The document was commissioned by the Federal Government of Aumarea and after its ratification President Knight addressed the cabinet, stating "This marks the formal start of our road to becoming a sovereign state and our fight against the United Kingdom for independence."
