Asbest was named after the chairman's birthplace in Asbest Russia
History
March 14 2019 - A military group now known as the Asbestian red guard took arms against the Fascist Allied states government, officially starting the socialist revolution of Asbest
March 15 2019 - The UASR declares independence from the ASA
March 25 2019 - The first holiday was celebrated that being presidents day or the presidents birthday
March 27 2019 - The constitution of the UASR is established
March 20 2020 - Lockdown was issued by the UASR government due to COVID 19
August 2 2023 - The original independent UASR transforms into a union and is made up of USRLM the ASR and the UASSR
August 29 2023 - The ATISC (Asbest treaty of international socialist cooperation) also known as the Asbest pact was formed
October 12 2023 - The red star tower finishes construction
December 8 2023 - A military coup led by the ex minister of defense was attempted but was put down by the Asbestian red guard this led to diplomatic reform causing the DRA (Democratic republic of Asbest) to form
Politics and government
Asbest has a leader for life Chairman Hueckstaedt as well as its vice president Blake Maddux these two governmental leaders make most decisions in Asbest. All members of the government are part of the Asbestian communist party

Law and order is one of the most enforced things within the nation, crime against the state is punishable by exile and fines, law enforcement are heavily militarized and are considered a branch of the military (Military police)

The UASR as a whole has a collective military being one of the strongest in the micronational community 90% of which comes from Asbest alone as it being the most militarized micronation to the public's view

Asbest is a very woodland area and the temperatures vary heavily around the year summer being extremely hot and dry spring being wet and stormy fall being relatively cool and winter being extremely cold

The economy of Asbest is primarily generated by agricultural practices such as poultry farming however due to its farming practices and self reliance the nation doesn't rely on its neighbor the United states for many resources
