To prevent any possible violation of a citizens rights, Colonial Law mandates that there be a independent investigative department created, hence the creation of the Department of Forensic Investigation.


Under Colonial Law the Department of Colonial Security is prohibited from conducting any form of investigation, especially criminal ones in which citizens have been alleged to have committed a crime to prevent against unfair prosecution.


The Department of Colonial Security is authorized to conduct internal investigation when it is dealing with matters involving Administrative Command or personnel in the Administrative Command.


The Department of Forensic Investigation will be required to independently investigate all criminal acts. The Department will also be the only agency allowed to question citizens outside court proceedings, except in emergency situations.


The Department of Forensic Investigation is an independent Department which is not directly managed by any other department; however, oversight is by the Colonial Security Council.
