Doiwood (Yiddish: דאָיוואָד) is the capital, oldest and largest city in the Kingdom of Bastara. It is the home of Bastaran governance - being the home of the monarch and the government. It is also the seat of the county government, as the capital of its county - Wrury.

Local Government
The city is given a local government. It is governed as a mayoral-council government, with the Mayor of Doiwood serving as the city's head of government and head of the executive branch of government. The Doiwood Council serves as the legislative branch of government with some limited abilities to create laws for the city.
It is also the seat of the Lord Mayoralty of Wrury.
