Grand Duchy of Gimrania - micronation located in Central Europe. It borders on all sides with the Republic of Poland.

Etymology

The name of the principality comes from the Gimranian language, where it means abundant country.

Country information

The area of the principality is about 1.5 km2. The entire micronation is inhabited by 6 people. The Grand Duchy of Gimrania is a constitutional monarchy where executive power is exercised by Grand Duke Victor I. Its capital is the town of Kablice. Two languages are spoken in the country: Polish and Gimranian. The official currency is the zloty. The state religion is Catholicism.

History

The Grand Duchy of Gimrania declared independence on January 31, 2024, and on the same day, the Grand Duke approved the constitution. A day later, on 1 February, an alliance was concluded with the Principality of Palend.

Politics and government

Grand Duchy of Girmania is Constitutional Monarchy. Grand Duke can select parliament members and he has executive power.

I. PREAMBLE Considering our shared history, culture, and the desire to build our own destiny, we, the citizens of the Grand Duchy of Gimrania, united in the spirit of patriotism and respect for our identity, declare our independence.

II. FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES The Grand Duchy of Gimrania is a sovereign state with the right to self-determination. We recognize Grand Duke Victor I as the head of state and guardian of our independent homeland. We commit to building a democratic society based on the principles of freedom, equality, and the respect for civil rights. We establish the Polish Zloty as the official currency of the Grand Duchy of Gimrania. We commit to preserving and promoting the Gimranian and Polish languages as an integral part of our culture. III. CONCLUSION With full responsibility to future generations, we proclaim this Declaration of Independence of the Grand Duchy of Gimrania, as an expression of our unity, spirit of independence, and the desire to build a better future.

Economy

The economy of the Grand Duchy of Gimrani is a self-sufficient economy. It is mainly based on agriculture. On the territory of the Grand Duchy potatoes, barley, raspberries, strawberries, currants, wild strawberries, apples, peaches, plums, chokeberries, gooseberries, tomatoes, blueberries, cherries, grapes, hazelnuts and walnuts are grown. Rabbits are bred for meat. As far as industry is concerned, there is a large carpentry workshop in the micronation.

1. PREAMBLE

We, the citizens of the Grand Duchy of Gimrania, united in the spirit of community and desiring to build a just society based on the principles of constitutional monarchy, parliamentary democracy, law, and civic equality, establish this Constitution for our micronation.

1. CHAPTER I: GENERAL PROVISIONS

The customs of the Grand Duchy of Gimrania do not differ much from those of Poland. The national holiday is Independence Day on January 31. The national animal is the rat, which is often found in the principality. National dishes include oversalted scrambled eggs or pancakes with chocolate.
