The Kingdom of Ƿynnbury, or Wynnbury for short, is a micronation in New Hampshire, United States. It was founded on November 15th, 2023, as a Constitutional Monarchy.
Etymology
They name of the Kingdom of Ƿynnbury comes from the old English letter Ƿ or wynn. Bury comes from burh, which is an Anglo-Saxon word for a stronghold or fortress.
History
In early 2022 a micronation named the Kingdom of Belgium was started as a joke. When the king went to England in April 2023, he had an idea of starting a fortress micronation and then an ocean micronation. In October 2023, the Kingdom of Ƿynnbury started but shut down at the end of the day because it was not prepared well enough. On November 15, 2023, it was founded officially.
Government
Head of government
The head of government and state is the King, who works with the Elite Guardsman to manage the military and homeland defense and works with parliament to get votes from the people for major decisions. Second in command to the king is the Elite Guardsman, who acts as an assistant to the king.
Legislature
The legislature is parliament which works with the king to make laws and important decisions. Parliament is made up of the Armorist, 1 Parliamentary Official, the Elite Guardsman, and the King.
Village Management Agency
The Village Management Agency, or VMA, is an agency that manages the state of villages and installs houses, electricity, military outposts, and recreational facilities in villages. The Village Management Agency also sets up walls or palisades around the villages. Each village has 1 VMA Agent who organizes construction projects according to the requests of the village minister.
Department of Communication
The Department of Communication, or DOC, manages communication systems across the nation. The DOC is meant to set up special government and military communication lines that are for the transfer of sensitive information between villages, the government, and deployed military. One standard regiment gets a DOC operator to manage communication lines laid by the Exercitus Terrae during battle.
Military
The ranks of the military of Ƿynnbury are structured from highest to lowest. The king leads the military into battle and the Elite Guardsman commands the lieutenants of the standard regiments.

Uniforms

Tactics
Ƿynnbury's tactics vary depending on their environment. On the land it is trench warfare. On the sea it is primarily ship raiding. In the air it's bombing.
The Exercitus Terrae
The Exercitus Terrae is a special forces and commando regiment that is under the king's direct command. They act as special forces, Central Intelligence, and as royal guards. The Exercitus Terrae's role in combat is to sabotage enemy forces using the cover of trees or grass. It is made up of 6 people. As of February 13, 2024, nobody is currently in the Exercitus Terrae.
Joining
Joining the Exercitus Terrae requires a difficult selection process. People cannot join the Exercitus Terrae if they do not live in the area surrounding Rochester, New Hampshire. If someone who applies is not from Rochester, they can participate if they have a Royal Pardon from the King.
Weaponry
The Exercitus Terrae is equipped with sabers and shotguns, which are more like a blunderbuss. They are also equipped with shovels and flares. They wear a special helmet marked with EXERCITUS TERRAE.
Villages
New Belgium
New Belgium is the capital of Ƿynnbury. It is in a forest with rock walls and Palisades marking the borders of the village, along with 4 watch zones, making it the most heavily defended.
Saxony
Saxony is a village currently under development that will manufacture weaponry and supplies for the military. It will also be the first village other than the capital. It's location is in the urban areas of East Rochester to supply watch zones Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, and Delta.
