Lily Jane Rotfels (b. 18 September 1999) is a micronationalist, self-proclaimed journalist, politician and the current Empress of Rheinwall and a member of the Royalist Party of Rheinwall (R.P.R). Previously she has been active in Ceticilia and Eodus until their respective dissolution. In her tenure in Ceticilia she was president several times and near the dissolution of Ceticilia a member of the Ceticilian Ecological Union which later became a caucus in the Democratic Socialist Party and wrote for the newspaper "The Green Dove", while in Eodus she was not affiliated with any party. She wrote for an independent newspaper in Eodus, the Eodusian Herald.

Personal life

Rotfels was born and raised in Western Germany of German and Turkish parents. Growing up, she was socialized male but had doubts about her sexual and gender identity from a young age. In 2017 she came out to her friends as transgender and bisexual. Due to her perception of being othered for fitting into neither Turkish or German social circles, being put into German as a second language courses several times in her life, as well as being trans and bisexual, she has advocated against racism and prejudice from a young age. Her interests include information technology, languages, environmentalism and design. She has had two cats growing up, but is generally cautious about pets because of their environmental impact. Rotfels is a pescetarian and refuses to eat factory-farmed meat.

Politics

Rheinwall

Lily Jane Rotfels is the Empress of Rheinwall and the Speaker of the Parliament of Rheinwall. She is a member of the Royalist Party of Rheinwall, with her policies are oriented towards traditionalism, rights of marginalized communities, green politics and monarchism. A fortnightly newspaper, the Purple Star, is released by the R.P.R, which Rotfels often writes for. She does not believe that the legislative and the executive need to be separate. Rotfels is the Queen of the Kingdom of Franconia, a constituent state of Rheinwall, making her full title Her Imperial Majesty, Empress Lily Jane I von Rotfels zu Rheinwall, Queen of Franconia.

Eodus

Rotfels used to write about current affairs for the Eodusian Herald, which became the most read newspaper in Eodus and the most active project after referendums.

Ceticilia

Ceticilia was founded in part by Lily Jane Rotfels, who was President and Speaker of Parliament countless times during Ceticilia's existence. She is credited to the majority of laws passed before 2020 and an expert on Ceticilian affairs. She was Queen of Ceticilia once, until it reverted to a Republic.

During her time in Ceticilia, Rotfels founded, joined and left several parties, which go from left-wing to center: the Progressive Party of Ceticilia, the Social Democratic Party of Ceticilia, the Ceticilian Alliance, the Democratic Socialist Party of Ceticilia and the Ceticilian Ecological Union.

Germany

She is a member of the German Green Party and is staunchly Anti-AfD, participating in demonstrations against them.
