Norte de Denver is a Paloman military occupation of the Cycoldian Duchy of Denver which began on 30 April 2023, after the Paloman invasion of Cycoldian Denver. Norte de Denver is currently in the process of being integrated into Paloma as a territorial possession.

History

Before invasion

Before any invasion by Paloman forces, Norte de Denver was the apart of the Grand Republic of Cycoldia as the Duchy of Denver, the Duchy was claimed by Cycoldia due to its importance to the Cycoldian Monarch, Christina I, whom was born in the area. The Duchy of Denver was established on the 6 November 2018, with Saffron Spurlock being the Duchess of it.

Invasion

On 18 February 2023, a small detachment of the Paloman People's Army consisting Abrams Wiucki-Dunswed along with his household, including Elijah and George Wiucki-Dunswed went to the Duchy and "symbolically liberated" the area to return it to the United States with certain areas being held under control by the Paloman military. Later on Christina I objected that it did not constitute a Paloman invasion of Cycoldia, claiming that the land labelled as the "Duchy of Denver" on an online map of Cycoldia was not correctly representing of the Duchy however Paloman representatives argued that this clarification was made after the fact.
