The ROSM is an socialist democratic republic formerly within the Imperial Commonwealth

Etymology

The name of Stret Merdhin comes from a Cornish (Celtic) Name, a street name within Kernow, United Kingdom, The name was chosen for the country because the leader of the nation would like to represent their culture.

History

The Republic of Stret Merdhin (ROSM) was formed on the 7th November 2023, Ashley formed the nation of ROSM after learning about the Republic of Molossia and the Republic of Sealand, after forming the nation of ROSM the Prime Minister Ashley formed the government of ROSM being the High Parliament of Stret Merdhin.

After the major events of forming the nations government & joining the Imperial Commonwealth the Prime Minister Ashley passed 2 new laws regarding Anti Hate Crime Laws and The Poly Marriages act.

The flag of the nation was created on the 9th November 2023, on the flag you would see a tree in the middle within a white circle and a green background representing the nature of the nation.

The Republic left the Imperial Commonwealth on December 26th, 2023.

The nations government is a socialist democratic government.

Prime Minister (Head of State)

Ashley was appointed the Prime Minister on the 7th November 2023, Taking on the nations foundation and formation, Ashley went on to form the Government and passing 2 laws within the nation.

Vice Prime Minister

Luna was appointed the Vice Prime Minister on the 8th of November 2023, Luna was gifted land within the nation with a local flag and local government.

The Nation has no current political parties due to the size of the nation.
