The Grand High Kingdom Of Cocklpot, more commonly known as The Kingdom Of Cocklpot or as Cocklpot, is a micronation in Australia.
Founded on the 21st of May in the year 2021 by His Majesty, Grand High King James, The Grand High Kingdom Of Cocklpot is a relativley new micronation and claims that it "seeks to hold onto the traditions of the past in a way that can connect with the values and virtues of a modern society."
The official website for the Kingdom of Cocklpot states, "In founding our great nation HM GH King James sought to create a kingdom that was free from many of the issues that he saw within other nations, such as prejudice and a lack of tolerance towards those who come from other lands and those who are of a different cultural and/ or religious background from the majority of the population, this in part led to the seperation of church and state that is seen in Cocklpot today." it further states, "...under the guidance of our Monarch, seeks to encourage good relations between our citizens and the citizens of other nations as well as continuing to strive for a more peaceful and understanding world."
The Kingdom is divided into the two classes of nobility and commoners.
The Kingdoms supreme power is held by the current reigning monarch whose powers include but are not limited to the power to write legislation, veto legislation, grant and revoke titles of nobility, grant and revoke citizenship, as well as to call a sitting of the Privy Council.
The Privy Council is known as either 'The Kings Privy Council' or 'The Queens Privy Council' depending on the title of the current reigning monarch.
This body is made up of those who hold titles of nobility within the kingdom as well as senior members of the royal family and anyone else invited to sit on the council by personal invitation of the current reigning monarch.
Sitting on a semi regular basis, the Privy Council sits to address matters of great importance to the Kingdom, such as reviewing new legislation, discussing issues such as national defence and more.
The People of Cocklpot may hold elections to vote for officials that may bring matters forward to the current reigning monarch and to the Privy Council, however, the people are encouraged to talk to their representitive on the council directly and to allow them to bring the issue forward.
To Date the Kingdom Of Cocklpot has not engaged in any micronational alliances or known relations but maintains a policy of friendly cooperation and openly invites any other micronational governments to contact it.

The Grand High Kingdom of Cocklpot is an Absolute Monarchy. Supreme power is held by the current reigning monarch whose powers include but are not limited to the power to write and veto legislation, grant and revoke titles of nobility, grant and revoke citizenship, as well as to call a sitting of the Privy Council.
The Privy Council is known as either 'The Kings Privy Council' or 'The Queens Privy Council' depending on the title of the current reigning monarch.
This body is made up of those who hold titles of nobility within the kingdom as well as senior members of the royal family and anyone else invited to sit on the council by personal invitation of the current reigning monarch.
Each holder of a noble title is charged with the representation of the people that reside in or choose to be represented by their titled area.

Nobility
The Grand High Kingdom Of Cocklpot has two different classes enshrined in the running of the nation, those being that of Nobility and Commeners. These two social classes share all the same rights bar for a select few that are bestowed upon the nobility.
The nobility of the kingdom is further seperated into the sub-classes of 'Peerage Title' and 'Non-Peerage Title'.
The peerage of the kingdom consists of those who hold noble titles, not including titles of royalty and is ranked as follows:
- Duke or Duchess
- Marquess or Marchioness
- Earl or Countess
- Viscount or Viscountess
- Baron or Baroness
Most of the peerage titles confer the right to sit as a member of the privy council and to oversee the reciting of the oath in a citizenship ceromony, however, this excludes the title of 'Viscount and/ or Viscountess of The Ring'.

The Peerage of the Kingdom does contain some titles that are reffered to as 'special' titles as they hold specific provisions on who can hold them and when they can be held.
These provisions are as follows:
- The title of "Duke or Duchess of Theeltus" is, and can only be, held by the sovereign.
- The title of "Viscount or Viscountess of The Blood" is, and can only be, held by the Prince or Princess who is next to take the throne.
- The title of "Viscount and/ or Viscountess of The Ring" is granted to any person(s) engaged to a memeber of the senior royal family.
The Non-Peerage Titles of the Kingdom confer no extra rights aside from the right to be reffered to by that title, however, holders of these titles do tend to hold a place of esteem among the people of Cocklpot.
Non-Peerage titles are granted by either the current monarch or by the holder of a peerage title, within their own titled region, with the assent of the sovereign, and can be held by multiple people at once. However, those who hold these titles are not granted a place in the peerage as their title is entirely ceromonial.
The current monarch further holds the exclusive powers to grant the Non-Peerage titles of "Lord or Lady of Service" to those they see as deserving. They also hold the exclusive power to enstate new members to the "Order of The Purple Paw".
A Non-Peerage title is held by the recipient for the rest of time, unless otherwise revoked, and does not get passed down from parent to child unless given express royal permission to do so.

Chivalric Orders
The Chivalric Orders of the Kingdom are orders of knighthood created by the Monarch to honour those who have provided services beyond that which could be expected to the Kingdom, Crown or Monarch personally. The Monarch is the head of each order and thus holds a position in each.
Each of the orders has its own ranks and honours that they can bestow onto those that get accepted into them.
Appointments to the orders are made at the Monarchs discretion, similarly the Monarch can revoke an appointment. Some of the orders accept suggestions for those who should be appointed but the final choice is that of the Monarch.

The Monarchy
The monarchy of Cocklpot is enshrined in law and is the supreme power in the land. The reigning monarch is styled with the title of 'Grand High King/ Queen' depending on their sex while the heirs to the throne hold the titles of 'High Prince/ Princess' or 'Grand High Prince/ Princess' if they are the eldest in the direct line of decent. The Kingdom practices absolute primogeniture meaning that the eldest heir will remain the first in line regardless of gender.
However, the title of 'Grand High Prince/ Princess' does not set in stone the next in line for the throne, the title of 'Viscount/ Viscountess of The Blood' denotes this honour as situations may arise in which the next eldest in line will not be able to take the throne when their time comes, this can happen in the case of some form of mental or physical disability that would entirely prevent them ruling.
Moreover, those who marry into the royal family are not granted the titles of 'Grand High Prince/ Princess' or 'High Prince/ Princess', instead they are simply granted the title of 'Prince/ Princess' depending on their sex.

Military
The Kingdom of Cocklpot refers to its military as 'The Kings/ Queens Armed Forces' depending on the reigning monarch.
'The Kings/ Queens Army' is what makes up the bulk of the Armed Forces of Cocklpot and is subdivided into multiple branches. Officially formed by Royal decree by His Majesty King James in the second year of his reign (2022) the decree to form the Kings Army was signed by both the King and by High Prince Jayden. The Kings Armed Forces are for both defensive and offensive opperations.
The Motto of The Kings Armed Forces is "Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori" as it reflects the unwavering loyalty and strength of Cocklpotian national pride.

The Cocklpotian Guard is a unit made up of hand selected service men and women. It is subdivided into three different guards. Officially formed by Royal decree by His Majesty King James in the second year of his reign (2022) the Cocklpotian Guard holds a special distinction within the Armed Forces.
The Royal Guard holds the responsibility of protecting members of the Royal Family such as the heir to the throne and other senior members. The Crown Guard holds the responsibility of protecting the current sovereign. The Council Guard holds the responsibility of protecting members of the Kings Privy Council.

The current flag of Cocklpot, officially called 'The Flag Of Absolute Sovereignty' as an allusion to over a year of self-governance since the secession was designed and created by one of the most impactful artists in the kingdom at the time, working closely with King James, before gaining the assent of the King to be used and instated as the official flag of the kingdom on the 14th of October in the year 2022.

The Great Seal Of Cocklpot' is not any one seal, it is the title held by the seal used at the time as the official crest of the kingdom. Each respective seal has its own name which is used when the seal is not the current official seal of Cocklpot.
The current seal to hold the distinction of 'The Great Seal Of Cocklpot' is the 'The Seal Of Absolute Sovereignty' which gained its name as an allusion to over a year of self-governance since the secession and was designed and created by one of the most impactful artists in the kingdom at the time, working closely with King James, before gaining the assent of the King to be used and instated as the offical 'Great Seal Of Cocklpot' on the 22nd of December in the year 2022.

The Arts
King James places a special emphasis on the importance of creativity, self-expression and the arts. This has led to the King granting his approval to show works of his choosing on the official website of Cocklpot.
These can be found all over the official website for the Kingdom of Cocklpot and a secondary website is currently in the process of being created to showcase all of the hand picked works.
These works gain a 'Royal Seal of Approval' and can apply to be granted a 'Royal Warrent' to form a company or other institution of the arts.
