Introduction The Grand Republic of Alovia (or GRA) was created on the 28th of February, 2022 in Southern Lithuania. They have a standing military of 18 people. The military consists of a marine corp, an airforce and a Grand Navy. The Micronation itself is located by a big lake with a singular island in the middle which the GRA has control over. The GRA also has it's own passport. The main ruling parties are The Senate and The Chancellor. The GRA is also divided into kingdoms, while the main one being referred to as an empire.
The ruling system of the GRA The ruling system of the GRA consists of an electable senate and a life-long Chancellor. The Senate is in charge of the inside of the nation and all of it's matters inside. It's run by two main parties - The Republican group and The Democrat group, which is very similar to the United States ruling parties. Each year the public decides which party will become the "House" and which will become the "Opposition". The House is the one that is in charge of generating ideas and new laws, while the Opposition is in charge of deciding wether they are appropriate or not. To decide on the necessity of a law it is voted on by the Senate and Senate alone. If the vote reaches 51% or more the bill is passed and it is moved on to the Chancellor who has to sign it, however, the Chancellor can decide that the law is not fit for the nation and can Veto it INFINITELY. The Chancellor is not known to abuse his power and has never yet veto'ed a law, although granted that there haven't been many propositions since the Senate was only created in the summer of 2023. The Chancellor also has quite a bit of power, however not on the inside of the nation, but rather on the outside. The Chancellor is in charge of the outside relations between neighbouring micronations (yes there are neighbouring micronations). The Chancellor is referred to as the highest rank of General in the entire military. The Chancellor has full power over all branches. However, there are two other people that help out the chancellor, they are called the "Elder trio" The oldest is the Senator who keeps order in the senate and passes the bill towards the Chancellor. The second oldest is the Chancellor. The youngest of the trio is the Admiral for both the Grand Navy and the airforce and helps out the Chancellor during wartime to manage these branches.
Military of the GRA The military consists of 18 personnel, 12 in the Marine corp, 5 in the Grand Navy and 2 in the airforce. The Marine corp has great battle tactics and amazing airsoft weaponry, however most of the information is completely confidential. The Grand Navy has 4 ships, two attack boats (stand-up boats) one destroyer (big row boat with an engine and mounted airsoft machine gun) and one carrier/battleship (big platform transformed into a ship with engine and mounted airsoft machine gun). The carrier/battleship can carry all of the planes (RC) of the airforce and has 2 personnel onboard not counting the pilots. The rest of the ships has one personnel each with the destroyer being capable of carrying 4 marine infantry and the stand up boats being able to carry one each.
Passport There are three types of passports - the common, the sir and madam and the honorary. The common is a colour blue and has regular passport capabilities. The sir and madam passport is green and has the power to travel faster between micronations (gets better attention regularly). The Honorary passport is only owned by the Elder trio and has the utmost luxurious capabilities when travelling.
Division of the GRA The GRA is divided into three sections: Sofiland, Love Island and Imperial Alovia with the capital being in the latter one by the name of Lacedon. Sofiland is the largest and newest addition to the GRA. It is mostly covered in forest however we do have a military camp stationed there (not permanently). Love Island is the only island on the lake and is mostly used for trade and just relaxation. Imperial Alovia is the heart of the GRA and is also where it all started. It's called Imperial Alovia because of the fact that the GRA was once before an Empire but we changed our ways to make it better to live here. The capital of the GRA is also located in Imperial Alovia by the name of Lacedon named after the legend of Alovia where the ancient ruler killed a beast that roamed in the island and conquered it. The beast in the island was of the name of Lacedon - a reptilian monster.
Culture and cultural events The Currency that the GRA uses is the Laythe. It's conversion is 1 ALH (Alovian Laythe) into 3 EUR. It is used throughout all of the GRA. It is a strong currency and it let's the citizens live an easy life. The Minimum wage is 500 ALH and for example a loaf of bread would cost around 0.40 ALH whilst an average 30 000 Euro car would cost around 10 000 ALH. The GRA also has a couple of important events. on the 28th of February it is Alovia day where we celebrate the creation of our nation. On the 24th of June it's the defeat of Lacedon, where we celebrate the defeat of Lacedon. On March 27th we celebrate the joining of the MA (Micronational Assembly). We also celebrate the birthday of the Current Chancellor which at the moment is on January 28th. The Language used in the GRA is English, Lithuanian, German and a bit of Latin.
