History

Pre-Nangkan Period (Late 1900s)

The Secret Nation of Nangka traces its origins to the late 1900s when a solitary settler moved in a secluded valley nestled within the rugged mountain terrain. Shielded by thick tropical rainforest, this valley served as an isolated haven, laying the groundwork for what would eventually become Nangka. As the settler's descendants multiplied, the territory underwent division among them, resulting in the fragmentation of Nangka's land into smaller pieces over time.

The Double Pandemic (2020-2023)

During "The Double Pandemic" spanning from 2020 to 2023, the nation endured its most arduous and somber period. This epoch marked the convergence of two distinct but devastating pandemics: COVID-19 wreaked havoc among the human populace, while African Swine Fever (ASF) ravaged the swine population. The toll was catastrophic, as both species suffered profound losses. The relentless onslaught of COVID-19 led to widespread illness, and economic turmoil among humans, while ASF decimated pig populations to the brink of extinction. The confluence of these pandemics plunged the nation into darkness, leaving an indelible mark on its history.

Independence Day (2023)

The year 2023 marked a pivotal moment in the annals of Nangkan history with the commemoration of Independence Day. Emerging from the crucible of the double pandemic that afflicted both humans and pigs, the resilient Nangkan people forged their nation. As the scourge of COVID-19 and African Swine Fever ravaged communities, a spirit of unity and determination emerged among the populace. In the face of adversity, they rallied together, driven by a collective vision for a better future. Reflecting on this momentous occasion, King Pepe I, the esteemed leader of the Nangkan people, proclaimed,

"In the crucible of hardship, we have forged our destiny. Let this Independence Day serve as a testament to our resilience and the enduring spirit of the Nangkan people."

With these words, King Pepe I encapsulated the indomitable spirit that defined the birth of the Nangkan nation.
