Rt Hon Elliot or EMORA for short, was a politician in the land of the bears that served as Prime Minister and head of the BPA.
EMORA is widely viewed as the greatest Prime Minister in land of the bears history, his various tenures in power saw a dramatic transformation of land of the bears society, great growth, victories in war, Solidification of the national standpoint and the famous Reformation Referendum where EMORA coined the now famous phrase "Your tree bears no fruits only bombs".
During his tenure he contested 5 Elections, achieving victories in 3/5 and gaining great respect from the populous, at the time of his resignation even one of his greatest rivals Revisionist Communist Party Prime Minister Sissiogamer1, called him "the greatest prime minister ever" and "universally beloved".
He initially gained power after forcing an election upon then prime minister Laurel, in a contentious session of pmqs where he issues scaving criticisms of the then prime minister. He won the election in a narrow victory, it later being revealed that laurel was an Almendrian spy, who has somehow made it to the highest office in the nation. This ensued a national panic and EMORA made raving speeches across the nation and within the discord calling for the nation to unite against the perceived threat of Almendria, he issued a national warning and started to build up against the threat. He also quickly assembled a popular cabinet, made up of many future significant figures including PM Kris (Czared), PM Alyx (AROBS), PM Alfie, Deputy PM Max, and future rival Louie, CEO of Space Force.
He led the nation valiantly, introduces Anti-Almendrian legislation, taking action against extremists and repealing much of the nations old, draconian laws.
One of his key moments would come soon, in August 2022 a user known as William Velton Hall began a campaign to revolutionise the land of the bears society, which many saw as a threat to the survival of the nation. This would later been know as "The Reformation" and would cause a deep amount of controversy within the land of the bears. EMORA was opposed to the idea from the start, and him and Jamie I of the Bears devised a plan to call a referendum which would hopefully quell the movement from growing further. They both engaged in a key campaign of propaganda against the reformation, alongside many commonwealth members. This was where "Your tree bears no fruits only bombs was coined". The Reformation Referendum would lead to an opposition and "vote no" landslide, this was seen as an immense victory for both EMORA and the land of the bears as a whole.
After this EMORA found himself university beloved and with almost no real opposition, until in early October his Deputy PM Louie unexpectedly would defect from the BPA and found his own party The S.L.P after a small skirmish broke out between himself and EMORA, after alleged reports claimed Louie had begun a vote of no confidence. He was forced to call an election after this matter, and many analysts initially expected a SLP victory, however this would turn into be the BPAs greatest landslide and an immense victory for EMORA leading to him garnering 60% of the vote. People seemed to appreciate what he had done for the country and overwhelmingly supported him.
Yet almost a month after, the Revisionist Communist Party would call a vote of no confidence upon him, leading to his resignation and his designated successor PM Alfie taking up the office of prime minister immediately. This would see an almost instant collapse of the land of the bears political system, and the ensuing election would have 9 newly created parties running leader to a runoff between the BPA and Revisionist Communist Party led by Sissiogamer1 ensuing. It would be one of the most highly contentious elections in land of the bears history, leading to a narrow RCP victory over the BPA.
The RCP would however not have enough time to implement there new agenda of change, as almost immediately newly elected BPA leader PM Kris (Czared) would call a vote of no confidence, and the ensuing election would be a B.P.A victory with a suspiciously strong victory, and there were many claims of rigging and voter fraud within the election.
EMORA would not return until early December, making a deal with PM Kris (Czared) for ownership of the BPA in return for a place as minister of war, whilst this deal would not be kept he would return as BPA head, and after the absolute Monarchy was abolished and constitutional monarchy reigned once more He would announce his return and candidacy with the BPA and removal of Czared from any top government position due to his fascist tendencies. He would lead early on the elections, until PM Kris (Czared) attempt to coup the government and overthrow of the monarchy demanding to cease elections and grant them higher power. Jamie however would not give in and they were forcefully exiled from the government.
EMORA would then be appointed as Prime Minister by the King, focusing upon his early lead he saw him to have the most legitimacy comparatively to other candidates. He would pass much workers rights legislation within this tenure, but close to the end he got quite stagnant and eventually resigned before the January 1st election.
On the 4th March EMORA would return to The Land Of The Bears wit a new primary focus, achieving the unachievable. A vote of no confidence was called on the current PM, PM Alyx (AROBS). Determined to win the elections, The BPA released various campaign ads as well as promoting the Bear Space Force's mission, The Ursa Mission. Already widely loved by the community, this gave EMORA an almost guaranteed win for the upcoming elections.
EMORA won the elections and stayed in power for the rest of his career, until on the 24th of September 2023, when he would resign under pressure from the King wanting to create absolute monarchy. In this time, He introduced the Citizens act, banning all slavery and discrimination for good, and the Protect the Poor act, to help those in more need. EMORA served the country greatly, but sadly once the absolute monarchy was established, almost everything he fought for was erased; slavery was legalized. Upon his resignation, EMORA presented the country with a poem, a poem to tell them how lucky they are to be here, and how proud he was of the nation:
From the sperm that won the race to the mud that woke up,
The eyes that blink and the mouths that move,
The hearts that beat and the Brains that think,
We are all a miracle, and our lives are once in a lifetime.
EMORA would then go on to become the CEO of the newly named 'BPA Space' and the Minister of Science in the kings cabinet, but the BPA's legacy would vanish, and all they fought for was for nothing.
