History

The war was a result of the debt Dominion of Flouron owed to NSJ. About 2 months before the conflict, they had asked for a loan due to their struggle to pay for supplies. This loan was not paid back to NSJ despite several reminders and eventually an ultimatum was made from the NSJ. Flouron was to either pay the debt or receive an invasion from NSJ. The Dominion of Flouron refused to pay the loan back, and as such the war started.

Mobilization

The Saint Johns Ground Force began its mobilization one day before the invasion, including of 2 soldiers from the First Infantry Division of the Saint Johns Ground Force. They were mobilized along the border and at 9:00 PM at an unknown date, they invaded.

Flouronian Troubles

For the entirety of the Flouronian Armed Forces history, they had struggled with ammunition shortages, weapon shortages, and low morale. Flouron was not a very militaristic nation, but despite them having little to no land defense they continued to not fund their military for unknown reasons. The NSJ assumed that Flouron underestimated them, and that only made their anger increase.

Invasion

At 9:00 PM at an unknown date, the First Infantry Division of the SJGF (Saint Johns Ground Force) began their offensive into the Dominion of Flouron. Instantly, they received heavy resistance from the Flouronian armed forces. The SJGF Forces pushed up until they reached the Flouronian main factory where they were stalled. The Flouronians, despite their weapons shortage, pushed the SJGF to the border where progress stalled. The SJGF tried to do yet another offensive, but only got a little past the border. After a while of fighting, the Flouronians were taken as prisoners of war before the government of Flouron surrendered.

Peace

At about 10:30 PM, a peace treaty was signed between the NSJ and Dominion of Flouron. The peace treaty included:

  • Flouron must pay its debts to the NSJ
  • Flouron reorganizes its territorial usage
  • Flouronian Armed Forces cease operations
  • SJGF retreats back to home territories

After the war, all of these terms would be violated. Flouron would not pay its debts, they continued to have a deorganized usage of its land, the FAF (Flouronian Armed Forces) continued to exist, and as a result of all of this, NSJ continued to do operations outside its territory.

As a result of all the terms being broken, it resulted in a second war.
