The Flag of Tanaau is the national flag of the Kingdom of Tanaau. It is the most distinctive symbol of Tanaau, and has been in use since its adoption on 29 November 2023. It is the oldest national symbol of Tanaau and was adopted to help foster a sense of national identity and to represent the kingdom.

History

The flag was designed by and adopted by order of Colin I of Tanaau on 29 November 2023. The flag is celebrated yearly in Tanaau on 29 November - which is termed "Flag Day" on the national calendar.

Design

The flag's design consists of a bold yellow saltire, sat atop four triangular segments of light blue and white colouring. The yellow colour represents prosperity, the blue represents freedom, and the white represents peace.

The flag was designed by Colin I of Tanaau in efforts to develop Tanaau and the Tanaauan identity.
