The Frankish Republic, also known as Francia, is a breakaway micronation founded in 2020 by a handful of former citizens of the Kingdom of the Franks, disgruntled at the authoritarianism and forceful suppression of opposition the nation's monarch contributed to. It is organized as a presidential republic, and the president is elected by the people for a 6 month term by universal direct suffrage. The legislature is placed into one house, known as the National Convention, which consists of 12 members elected for a term of three months by direct universal suffrage through party-list proportional representation.

Politics and government

Francia is governed under a presidential system, and all elected positions in the nation can be revoked through popular referendum. The National Convention serves as the unicameral legislature of the nation, and consists of 12 seats.
