The Free State of Vallehermoso (in spanish: Estado Libre de Vallehermoso) is a European micronation landlocked between Madrid (capital of the Kingdom of Spain) in the form of a socialist, secularist, anarchist and democratic republic with no head-of-state, police or prisons. Its capital is the Free Town of Vallehermoso and it was founded the 5 of November 2017 after an Independence Referundum and a Formal Independence Declaration as a reaction to the reaction of the Spanish Government to the Sovereignty Process of Catalonia and its years of capitalistic deriva.

History

As a response to the traditional capitalistic position of Spain and the Central Government's reaction to the Sovereignty Process of Catalonia, Ricardo Galiano de 9 of October 2017 created a constitutional draft that defended it's positions on freedom, equality and social justice. This started and open process of negotiations which involved all the citizens of it's property in Vallehermoso with the observance of two international representatives, later sympathizers with the regime, Miguel Blanes and Nadia Redondo. Another crucial figure of this events was Ana Burón, which also leaded the countries seek of independence.

This process concluded on the Debate on Comperoray Global Order the 4 of November 2017, in which all the citizens of Vallehermoso and Miguel Blanes and Nadia Redondo discussed their positions on capitalism, its fought, gender roles and the proletariat, conversations which resulted on the Pulchrian Referendum of the 5 of November 2017 where independance was availed unanimously by all pulchrians, declaring immediately the Indepandance of the Free State of Vallehermoso and the 5 of November as National Pulchrian Day.

Immediately after that an Extraordinary Congress was called in the capital of the country, Free Town of Vallehermoso. There three main questions were discussed: the immediate need of calling an Extaordinary General Asssembly in which all pulchrians would have to debate and decide on the steps to take in order to achieve a complete political transition, the election of a demonym and the naturalization of Miguel Blanes and Nadia Redondo as citizens of the Free State of Vallehermoso. After this, and Extraordinary General Assembly was called in which eight points were discussed.

The Eight Points of the Free State of Vallehermoso

  1. The hoist of the national flag (yet to determine) in all the balconies of the Free Town of Vallehermoso, and the naturalization of Miguel Blanes and Nadia Redondo with honors for their special contribution to the Independance Process of the Free State of Vallehermoso.
  2. The immediate signposting of the countries frontier with the Kingdom of Spain; the announcement of Ricardo Galiano, Ana Buron, Miguel Blanes and Nadia Redondo as Founders of the Free State of Vallehermoso and the urgent necessity of calling the General Assembly of Citizens to debate the different points of the First Constitution of the Free State of Vallehermoso through a Constitutional Assembly.
  3. The production of a formal document of Independance, signed by all the pulchrian citizens
  4. The start of conversations with the Spanish State in order to achieve a peaceful transition, more specificaly with: the Palace of Moncloa, the Palace of Zarzuela and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  5. The management of international recognition with other micronations, the General Government of Catalonia and other anticapitalist governments such as Venezuela, Cuba or Bolivia
  6. The recognition of the Independence of Catalonia and the formal petition of freedom for the political prisoners that have been convicted as a result of the repressive measures of the Spanish Government
  7. The worldwide communication of our Independance in national and international domains
  8. The creation of a national website

Furtheremore the 6 of November 2017 the citizens of the Free State of Vallehermoso signed a formal Declaration of Independance in which pulchrians committed to the defense of socialism, feminism, transgender and queer rights.


Government and Politics

The Free State of Vallehermoso is a non-presidential socialist, secularist and democratic republic, committed to anticapitalism, women, transgender and queer rights. This is patent in its Constitution, which also includes a section of nature and animal rights. The only legitimate institutions recognized are the General Assembly of Citizens and regionally-elected institutions. Every month all citizens are called to Congress, where pulchrians can bring up the themes they consider necessary to debate. Then each citizen can express if it should be or not debated, a 30% of agreement is necessary for the question to be considered in the General Assembly of Citizens. In it all the themes that have passed are debated and once consensus ir reached on them the laws applied are voted with a pass by simple minority.

Separation of Powers

There's no separation of powers in the Free State of Vallehermoso, as it is a popular goverment in the form a direct democracy. There are no representatives, therefore all the competences of the State are assumed by pulchrians through the General Assembly of Citizens. This includes juridical, executive and legislative powers.

Military power

Armed forces and obligatory military service are banned in the Free State of Vallehermoso. There's also no police or security guard.

Human, nature and animal rights

The Free State of Vallehermoso is a strongly committed country regarding civil rights. It's Constitution has a long section dedicated to these.

Human Rights

The State has specific constitutional laws regarding human rights, women rights, gender rights and sexual orientation rights. These include children, marriage, labor, abortion and language rights between others. Also the "right of no alienation" which recognises the right of all pulchrians to not be alienated by any superior capitalistic, fascist, heteropatriarchal or private power nor interest. Private property is also banned but it is clearly distinguished from individual property, defending the end of capitalistic property but not of individual assignation of housing or objects.

Nature and animal rights

Nature has assigned a series of rights such as the right of conservation and no pollution. Animals also have a series of rights regarding their life, use, happiness, dignity and welfare.

Geography

The Free State of Vallehermoso is landlocked between Madrid (the capital of the Kingdom of Spain). This makes it have a continental mediterranean climate, known for its characteristic polarized temperatures. It is divided into a unique community, the Community of Chamberi, and a single province, the Province of Vallehermoso, where the capital, the Free Town of Vallehermoso, is. This is however temporary as it is expected the annexation of the Territory of Moncloa, actual foreign Spanish territory, and possibly of the Garay Communion.

Demography

The demography of the Free State of Vallehermoso is one of the smallest in the world. It us today of four citizens of which two live in the Spanish Kingdom. This is however temporary as it is expected to increase as it becomes known in different parts of Madrid, the Kingdom of Spain and the world.

Language

All languages spoken by the pulchrian citizens are recognised as official, however the most commonly used language is Spanish. All citizens of the Free State of Vallehermoso speak both Spanish and English, however French and German are also used and known.

Culture

The Free State of Vallehermoso is a culturaly committed country. Between it's population there are many drama, writing, photography and music artists as well as scientist, specifically biologists. Biology is the main course of study in the pulchrian society (75%) preceded by Spanish Language and Literature (25%).
