The Governor of New Shropshire is the representative of the monarch in New Shropshire. The governor is appointed by the monarch on the advice of the British government. The governor is the nation's highest authority and chief executive, but delegates most daily business to other officials. .

The governor's official residence is King's House in Cheltenham, England. The current governor is Sir Victor FitzGerald.

History

The position is the direct successor the position of Governor of the West Chile Company, which was disbanded in 1839.
