The Sovereign Principality of Pullus, or also known as Pullus, is a micronation in Utah, USA. It was established July 24th, 2023, by Alphonse I, the current Prince. Its consists of 2 Provinces as of now, the Province of Brahma and the Province of Cubiculum.
Etymology and Vexillology
The name:
The name Pullus comes from the Latin word for Chicken. Alphonse decide on it because the country is a lot about chickens. 72% of the citizens are chickens.
The flag:
The red on the flag stands for our peoples courage, willingness to take on challenges, and power. The blue stands for liberty and freedom for our citizens. The thing in the center of the flag is the coat of arms.
History
30,000 years ago:
It is believed that where The Sovereign Principality Of Pullus is right now, was once underwater, because of many fossils of Trilobites being found in the area where it is. It was most likely Lake Bonniville that Pullus was under.
1970:
The city where Pullus is located is founded.
1990s:
The house and garden where Pullus is located is built.
2014:
Alphonse, The founder of Pullus (and the current Prince) moves into the house.
July 24th, 2023:
Alphonse was surfing the internet, when he stumbled across a subreddit called R/micronations, which caught his attention. He started reading about micronations, and soon he wanted to make one himself. He made a constitution, got some land (His chicken pasture) and made a flag. On July 29th, he declared the Sovereign Principality Of Pullus a sovereign micronation, and made himself Prince.
August 6th, 2023
Alphonse I joins the Union of North Atlantic Micronations, or UNAM for short.
October 15th, 2023:
Pullus almost has a civil war. Citizens started complaining about how thw public works and military were slacking off from there jobs. These citizens started to threaten to start a civil war. The prince and the chancellor meet with them, and a agreement was made. The almost-civil war ended.

The Grand Duchy Of Pullus is very similar to America, culture-wise, but is different in some ways.
National food and animal:
The national food is a Breakfast Strada that Alphonso I is a master at cooking. The national animal is a Silver-Laced Wyandotte chicken, because most of our citizens are this breed of chicken.
National Sport:
Pullus's National sport is Bangball. In Bangball, players will be on ether of the two teams. The goal of the game is to hit your opponents three time on the lower legs with a dogeball that is kicked. Teams consist of two players.

The Grand Duchy Of Pullus uses a Gregorian Calendar, with the normal twelve months.

The Grand Duchy Of Pullus celebrates most normal holidays, like Xmas and Martin Luther King Jr. day, but it also has it's own days of celebration.

Religion
Religion:
The two main religions of Pullus are Jiminisim and Chocolatism. Jiminisim was founded by the great chicken Jim, who is still alive. Jiminisim is more of a set of Philosophy's than a religion. It dose not have weekly church, or anything like that. Its religious texts are "The Teachings Of Jim" and The Bible. It believes that everyone should be treated well, and that God was the creator of this world.
Chocolatsim is basically Christianity, but it believes one more thing: that Chocolate, the great chicken, was the first chicken ever created by God, and that she is the best chicken to have ever walked the Earth. Sadly, she passed away in 2021 of old age when she was 7 years old. The religion was founded by herself. She dose not think she is a goddess or anything like that, but that she is the greatest chicken to ever haved live. The religious texts for Chocolatsim is "The Book Of Chocolate" and The Bible.
A small amount of the population (6%) are Later Day Saints, the religion founded by Joseph Smith. To read more about this religion, you can google 'Mormon Religion'.
Geography
The Grand Duchy Of Pullus is pretty flat, with some trees and bushes. It located next to a big forest, with some houses around it. It is somewhat hilly, and is very lush in vegetation. There is much wildlife, including Deer, Turkeys, birds, and some small critters.
Economy and money
Economy:
The Grand Duchy's main economy is chicken eggs. In fact, so many eggs are produced in Pullus, Alphonso I dose not even need to buy eggs at the store. Other than that, Pullus dose not really make a lot economy-wise.
Currency:
The currency for The Grand Duchy Of Pullus is the Pullus Brick. One Pullus brick is about two USD dollars.
