Capital city of the Kingdom of Istria

The city of Hamburg (Istrian: Hæmbîrg, Romanian: Hamburg) is the capital of Istria, as well as it's cultural, economical and political center. It is in the center of the Istria Region and it's part of the Hamburg Capital Region (Istrian:Hæmbîrg Regîn Kæpîtal, Romanian: Regiunea Capitalei Hamburg)

Hamburg was first mentioned in documents in 1935. It since have been the capital of the Kingdom of Istria and it's the Istrian center of media, culture and art. It's architecture it's a mix of historical (neoclassical), communist era and modern.

Economically, Hamburg is the second most prosperous city in Istria after Vacaresti.

Etymology

The romanian name of Hamburg, has derived from Hamburgese, which is the Istrian name for the city of Hamburg, Germany. It was named after this city in 1935 when Her Majesty came with the idea of this name after a state visit in Hamburg. The name before the name of Hamburgese is unknowon to historians.

Geography

The city is situated centrally, haveing laterally therithories like Histren (right), Montecapelone (up), Kingdom of Lotriori (left), Catalider (down).

Until 1970, the Region of Hamburg has been largely rural and had little to no big settlements, such us the Palace of the Royal Family (Palace "Carnata") and the Pandemburg I Church.

In 1978, two years before loseing the war to Dristor's Empire, the Istrian Gouvernment decided to build a Tribunal, to judge different actions of their foreign enamies. They condamned different personalities, their sentences beeing put in force just until the revolution in 2000.

The Istrian theritory restarted here in 2000, where Hamburg has been divided into: Luca (now Parliaments District), Bloc (now Gouvernments District), Garaj Istriei and Duba (now National Bank District), Hamburg (now Constitution District) and Hamburg West (now Cartere District). Hamburg West has been along the years subject of a number of controvercies regarding inclusion within Hamburg, as it's separation from Hamburg in 2015, has been a remark of national division. In 2020, after the decision of the High Court of Cassation and Justice, regarding Hamburg Regionses cities to be part of Hamburg, after a national debate and referendum, that decided that this is the best, all the excities became districts, and all exmayors, either retired, either have been granted a place in the local council of the new Hamburg.

Gouvernment

Administration

The Region of the Capital, region which includs just Hamburg City, is gouverned by a Regional Gouvernor, and works toghether with the Mayor of Hamburg which directs the Local Council of the City to assure projects are started. The Gouvernor has the responsability to represent Hamburg at it's best in the Gouvernor's Council, and the Senate. She represents the needs of the people of Hamburg, toghether with other 3 senators, as she had to nominate 3 other senators from the Local Council of Hamburg. The Local Council is represented by 25 members devided by the parties that won the elections for the Local Council.

Today the Mayor is still an interim General, Handover Andrei, who has served in this position since 2018 when the Local Council decided to turn down due to critiques over the Polivalent Hall Scandal, trial in even today. The General is an independent member as an Army General can't be a member of any party, and all the work is supposed to be done by the Gouvernor of the Region of the Capital, Miss Gida Ferra, elected on 15 November 2020 at the Senate Elections. This made Gida Ferra the most powerful gouvernor in all of Istria and to the Democratic Party the winning of the Capital.

City General Council (or Local Council)

In Hamburg, the General Council is the same institution to the Local Council, as the two, Mayor and Gouvernor, represent the position of Head of this institution. The Mayor is treated tho as a vice-gouvernor.

Justice System

The justice system in Hamburg is similar to the one in each other city in Istria but slightly different. The city detains just one local-first intance court (Permanent Tribunal of Hamburg). The Hamburg Court of Appeal, which is now discussed to be moved to the Permanent Tribunal of Hamburg, judges appeals against the decision of the Tribunal and, as the Tribunal, administers the City of Catalider. Hamburg is also home to the High Court of Cassation and Justice, and the Constitutional Court of Istria (in the same builging).

Hamburg has also a Regional Police Force which is devided on different divisions, Parliament's Police Force, Gouverments Police Force, Banking Police Force, Cartere Police Force, Constitutional Police Force and Garaj Istriei Police Force.

Economy

Hamburg is a center of a number of different economical activities that represent the country in a number of ways. Hamburg represents firstly the center of economical research as the city has a stock market, Hamburg Stock Market. Second of all this is the most political city in Istria as here are the headquarters of the most important institutions: Presidential Administration, Parliament, Gouvernment, National Bank of Istria, Constitutional Court, the Judicial Prosecutor's Office of Istria, Permanent Tribunal of Hamburg, National Theatre.

This city was until 2019 the center of economics as from here were made the international tradeing offers thru the Exterior Comerce House, that moved to Softa.

Culture

Visual Arts

The Istrian Capital is full of important museums that can be viseted. This city represents the center of beautiful visual arts that presents the initiative of the Presidential Administration: "Istrian Culture: Between Tradition and Modernity".

The National Bank has represented an important landmark as it's communist architecture stands out from the rest of the buildings around makeing it seam special in some way. The Istrian National Bank became the institution of today in 2011 when the President Theodor Adin decided to move the bank from the vault of state to this place of grand use before, National Museum of Culture Istria. The Museum Closed but it's influences has remained until today.

The National Theatre of Istria, located on Car St. is right beside the Pandemburg I Church and represents a great achievement of cultural movement. This theatre has been renovated in 2019 and represents the most impressive scene in Istria. Addapted for opera, and other types of concerts with pit, the Istrian Theatre has became the impressive institution it is today.

The White Block Palace, it is a very impressive museum that you can visit. The Contemporary Floor and the Traditional Istrian Floor, represent two different worlds that transpose you to two different realities. The Contemporary Floor is a temporary exhibition open between 1 June and 7 September to comemorate Istrian Culture, and the Traditional Istrian Floor is a permanent exhibition representing the istrian cutlture at it's finest. Exhibits such as: Pitture dei Jeppanesi, part of the Asian Influence of the Istrian Culture, and Pitture dall'Rinascimento Istriano, part of the Rennisance of the Istrian arts, traditional carpets donated from the Royal Family, the royal thrones of HM from Anna's Palace etc.

The Jewlwery of HM the Queen is also an important exhibition as here are exhibited the most important jewlweries from Istria. The Crown Jewls are also depicted here and represent the most impressive colection of jewls and history.

Healthcare

The most important and modern hospital in Istria is located here, "Il Cane" Hospital has represented and represents from it's foundation in 2014 the most important institution of medicine and medical research in Istria. With an entire center of research "Il Cane" Medical Research, which is even listed at Hamburg's Stock Exchange, it has been since it's foundation in 2020 a research institution of consultion of many national institutions of other micronations. It's studies over the COVID-19, "Sanità programe" is has been important info for the national gouvernments to take decision in this regard.
