The Serene Republic of the Union of Aspinburgh
Since the formation of the Union of Aspinburgh on February 11, 2011, the nation has been without an official head of state. From February 11, 2011, to April 14, 2011, the Assembly of Regents acted as a collective leadership and thus, de facto head of state and government. Since April 14, 2011 Prime Minister Stephen Paffens Jr. has only acted as head of government. Presidential elections are planned for June 2011.
