The Etty Doo Daa Ikerlandiyagenng Leennydaag (English: Institute for the Ikerlandian Language), abbreviated IIL, is the regulatory body of the Ikerlandian language in Ikerlàndia.

The IIL, has the following main aims:

  • to aid and follow the development of the language
  • to answer inquiries about the Ikerlandian language and its use
  • to update the official Ikerlandian dictionary
  • to publish a guidebook and phrasebook of the Ikerlandian language.
  • Increase the usage of the Ikerlandian language locally.
  • Further develop the Ikerlandian language, including writing a dictionary and education material for the Ikerlandian language.
  • Cultural arrangements.

Current projects

The current projects of the IIL include:

  • The Publication of guidebooks and phrasebooks
  • Translation of the Ikerlandian Constitution
  • Publication of an official dictionary

Chief of the Institute

The Chief of the Commission is the person responsible to the Ikerlandian public regarding the development of the Ikerlandian Language.
Currently the chief is Daagyzwölle Raessagenng, supervised by the King Iker I of Ikerlàndia.
