The Kingdom of Johnny Land (French: Royaume de Johnny Land), or just Johnny Land, was a micronation in Washington, United States. Formed in 2019 after the end of Ernish-Mountain States War, it operated under the absolute monarchy of its self-styled King, Johnny Lee, and comprised of 5 territories all claimed to be under Johnnean rule. The nation became part of the Republic of Voin in 2020.
History
Most records of Johnny Land were destroyed over time by Lee, very little info can now be found about certain details of Johnny Land. However, many records nearing the end of Johnny Land's existence are still around.
Formation
Lee's original micronation, the Johnny Land Juno Kingdom, suffered defeat in the Ernish-Mountain States War. It is unknown why Lee created a new micronation afterwards, it's assumed by most that Lee attempted to start a new micronation to prevent knowledge of the defeat spreading.
Hougoumount Campaign
On 2 May 2020, Lee along with a unknown individual flooded the Aeternian Discord Server with gorey imagery in attempt to harass Jacob Vancapelle. A few hours afterwards, Lee would make a ultimatum against Natlin and other micronations associated with Naltlin. The terms in the ultimatum by Lee were never followed leading to Johnny Land's declaration of war against Natlin and her associates a day later. Lee attempted to raid a few more Discord servers afterwards, all of which were shut down fairly quick. Evan Calies, who which was a spy for the Hougoumont Coalition, pretended to side with Lee to gain his trust. On 6 May 2020, Calies gave administrative powers to Hougoumont Coalition members in Lee's server and began to remove major elements that made up the server. Hours after the event, Thomas Allen Jr. betrayed Lee and sided with the Hougoumont Coalition. Allen declared himself the new head of state of Johnny Land and signed the Treaty of Naun, which put the conflict to an end. Lee still considered Johnny Land undefeated, but eventually gave in. Lee since then has not returned to micronationalism publicly.
Republic of Vöin
Allen would dismantle Lee's original government and rebrand the nation as the "Republic of Vöin". Under Vöin, Allen implemented democratic processes to the nation but was eventually dissolved after Allen had interests else where.
