The Kalkedonia Kingdom was a micronation and based in Üsküdar, Turkey. It was founded in June 2016 by Lukas Can Kılınç. It was last recognized as active in July 2016, and has registered no activity on their Facebook group as of 2018. During its short period of activity, it was not recognized by any outside government.
Etymology
The name of Kalkedonia was chosen because it was the name of the Üsküdar district under the Byzantine Empire period.
Goverment
The country was a parliamentary monarchy system. The King and the Prime Minister assumed the title of the country's leadership. The Prime Minister presided over the Council and Parliament. The King evaluated the decisions of these authorities. National Assembly consisted of 25 seats. There were two political parties, the Conservative Party; a right wing party in favor of laissez-faire economics, and the Democratic Party, a left wing party in favor of a government controlled economy. The first elections resulted in victory for the Conservative Party.
Ministries
The state was organized through the state ministries. There were 5 ministries: Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Communications and the Ministry of Economy. All of these ministries reported to the Prime Minister.

Eagle Symbol
The flag, emblem and all state all bear the official national Eagle Symbol. The symbol represented nobility and power.
Membership
Kalkedonia was based in Istanbul but claimed citizens in a variety of Turkish cities ( Bursa, Ankara, Izmir ). During its existence, the state was also open to expansion into other macronations.
