The Kingdom of Arpads, also known as Arpads, is a micronation located in Taiwan and is in personal union with Principality of Brienia and was founded on 14 March 2020. Kingdom of Arpads is constitutional monarchy, but king has ceremonial title with no power related to Government. Government is ruled by Governor-General Lin Wei You. Arpads is friendly and pacifist nation that supports diplomacy and cooperation.

Etymology

Arpads' name comes from name of first Hungarian King, Arpad. Arpad was also the name of Hungarian Dynasty.

History

Kingdom of Arpads was founded as small group of people, but after quarrel (argument), group was disbanded. Lin Wei You reconstructed whole group to micronation. After joining instagram, when Brienia was in middle of crisis, Brienia came to King of Arpads asking for personal union, King didn't accepted, but after explaining, King accepted and Sovereign Prince Ivan of Brienians became King of Arpads. Original coat of arms was without angels, and flag was vertical bicolour of red and blue, but was later changed to stripes with coat of arms, with stripes representing Arpad Dynasty of Hungary.

Politics and government

Kingdom of Arpads, as said, is in personal union with Brienia, but totally independent from it, King doesn't has any power related to governmnet, but serves ceremonial role, government is ruled by Governor-General. As said, Arpads is constitutional monarchy. Legislative power of Arpads is, as usual in Crown Commonwealth, Royal Council.
