The Empire of Rice Lake is a remote collection of islands located within the borders of Ontario Canada. The Lake is home to many animal species such as frogs, a large population of Bass that surrounds the islands, and many Cormorants [[w:Cormorant] who flock to the island during the summer months. The cormorant population easily exceeds 100 on the capital island of West Grape Island and is the national animal of the Empire. The Kingdom of West Grape Island was officially founded on August 30, 2022, by King William|I] but the name has since been changed to accommodate the new islands on February 16, 2023.
