The State of Koss has traditionally allowed for its sub-divisions to adopt their own languges. As per the founding law of the State, the Papian and Portuguese languages are the official languages of the realm and the English language would be the language for most government proceedings.

The Kossian Government uses English for its proceedings. This is due to the heavy employment of foreigners in the public sector.
