Microcosme.info, is a multi-language publication founded by Olivier Martinez on 15 January 2022 with the goal to publish stories about the micronational community in the main languages spoken in the Western world.
Contrary to many micronational news media, Microcosme.info does not cover a single micronation and as such as gained a seizable base with hundreds of followers on its different social media accounts.
The newspaper is self-published through its own website.
History
Microcosme.info was founded on 15 January 2022, following the suspension of operations from the Groupe Micropotin the publishing group of Aigues-Morning, the english news media of the Principality of Aigues-Mortes.[1]
The newspaper published its first story on 16 January 2022, with a full interview with Carolyn I of Ladonia.[2]
It soon established itself as a well respected media in the micronational community. It gained praise in the micronational community for its professionalism, its neutral coverage of many micronations and the variety of topics covered by the outlet.[3]
During the summer of 2023, it provided in-person coverage of both editions of MicroCon 2023. It also became one of the first micronational newspaper to cover the event with a journalist that was not also a micronational leader.
The organization also allows for micronationalists to submit opinion pieces which are published and translated in the many languages offered by Microcosme.info.
Micro Gotha
The website of Microcosme.info is also hosting Micro Gotha which considers itself "the official register of the ruling houses, heads of state and nobility of the micro-national world"[4]
