The Congress of the Free Nakoosa Republic or Nakoosa Congress is the legislator of the Free Nakoosa Republic. The Congress was established in the 2023 Constitution of Nakoosa. The Nakoosa Congress is a unicameral legislative body. It is composed of 16 representatives who are elected by majority vote from 16 representative districts. Each representative district represents 15 people.

The Nakoosa Congress is responsible for passing laws and overseeing the Cabinet of Nakoosa. Members of Congress serve one-year terms and are elected through a proportional representation system, which ensures that each representative district is represented in Congress based on the number of votes cast in the district.

The Congress meets regularly in the Trapper Cabin, which is located on the eastern edge of the capital of Buckhorn View. In addition to passing laws, Congress also has the power to remove the President by a vote of no confidence and other high-ranking officials of the government for crimes and misdemeanors. A simple majority vote is required in Congress to approve a vote of no confidence, after which a trial is held in the judicial system to determine the guilt or innocence of the accused.

The Congress also has the power to levy taxes, regulate commerce, and declare war. These powers are carefully balanced by the Constitution to ensure that the government operates in a responsible and effective manner, while also protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens.
