The National Union Party, commonly the National Union, is a right-wing political party in the Republic of Zinland. It was established on 16 April 2023 by Derek Adams.
History
The National Union is the oldest party in Zinland. It was established on 16 April 2023 by Derek Adams who then took office as party leader.
Ideology and Positions
The National Union is a right-wing political party. It describes itself as somewhat big-tent being encompassing of a range of right wing, primarily conservative, ideologies. Economically the party describes itself as somewhat corporatist over capitalist but allows capitalists to join the party.
Leadership
The party is presided over by a leader. They are aided by the executive committee which is chaired by the party chairman. The party leader can also appoint a deputy party leader to aid them. The party leadership can also appoint a spokesman who works with leadership to convey party messages and announcements within the party and to the public.
