Nationalism in West River

Nationalism in West River is commonly associated with several movements for regional sovereigntism and separtism, rather than advocacy for the interests of the West River Confederation. This is because West River does not see itself as a nation, but rather a confederation of four different nations. Unlike many other states, nationalism in West River is associated predominantly with left-wing politics. The most significant nationalist movements in the confederation are those of the Republic of Ellisine, and the informal region of Kiwia.
