Nevida is a nation in North America. The capital is an area of grass that is located in the center of the nation. The capital and New Italy, a state of the nation, make up two-fifths of the population. It's location makes it a warm nation with somewhat cold winters. With an area of 3107.99 hectares (7680.010545 acres) and a small population, it is the second-smallest sovereign nation in the world, after the Republic of the Mafia. As governed by Holy Cumming, Nevida is an ecclesiastical or sacerdotal-monarchical nation (a type of theocracy) ruled by the pope who is the head of Chelonia.
Holy Cumming dates back to Early Chelonia and is the principal episcopal see of the Catholic Church. The independent nation of Nevida, however, came into existence on 28 September 2021 by the Vickery Treaty between Holy Cumming and School Mafia, which created the nation.
Inside Nevida are religious and famous areas such as New Italy, Chelonian Church and the Concrete Desert. Which feature some exclusive but most touristic areas. The economy of Nevida is heavily supported by tourism as many buy from churches, restaurants and etc. However Nevida does not make money from passports unless your not a US citizen.
History
Early History
Chelonia is a religion that is made to worship turtles as the bringers of land or owners of land, depending on what version of it you use. Ranel Lopez, the head of Nevida wanted to create a shrine for his two turtles that cared for a lot but he couldn't so claiming already built land was the only option. Then by asking Grayson I, dictator of School Mafia, if he could leave the nation and start his own Grayson reluctantly said yes and let him gain independence even allowing him to set territory that touched his nation.
Chelonia
Chelonia is a recent religion made in the early 2020s that was started by Ranel Lopez, who was deputy minister of School Mafia at the time. He had two turtles and after seeing some algae grow on one of their shells he wanted to make a religion out of it. He couldn't make anything to represent them so he claimed land so that he wouldn't have to create anything. Chelonia has been divided into two different denominations, Cryptodira and French Pleurodira.
The Gods
Chelonia has two gods those being Breezy and Finn. The first god, Breezy is a Russian tortoise but if your in Nevida or Holy Cumming she is a Nevidan tortoise. Breezy is seen as the bringer of life and the helper of it too, she is seen as thesu most religious creature in the world.
The second god is Finn who is a common snapping turtle but like Breezy if your in Nevida or Holy Cumming he is a Nevidan snapping turtle. Unlike Breezy Finn is seen as the end of life and the only negative thing about being alive. He is seen as the unholy creature in the world but resides in the holy house as if Finn is in water he cannot spread his negativity.
Vickery Treaty
On 28 September 2021, when the Vickery Treaty between Grayson Pace and Ranel Lopez, was agreed upon Grayson Nevida became an independent nation. On the same day the treaty became effective, this established Nevida as an independent nation.
Acknowledgement War
The only war, with no deaths, that Nevida was in was the Acknowledgement War which had three participants, Nevida, School Mafia and the US even though the US didn't get much a say in the war itself. The war started on 28 September 2021 as Grayson Pace did not like how Nevida didn't recognize the US as an independent nation. Grayson would threaten Ranel into war and with being the only citizen at the time Ranel claimed land and called it US Cross Territory, made it where both School Mafia and US citizens didn't need a passport to enter and used the US dollar as it's currency. The war ended in the creation of the Vickery Union which is a union that is made to create peace across the nations
Geography
Nevida has very little geography as most of it is urbanized making it the most urbanized nation in the world. Most of Nevida's animals are the same ones you can find in Georgia as it is located within the state. Insects, domesticated dogs, cats and many others are animals that you'll find within the nation.
Once after the Vickery Treaty was agreed by Grayson Pace the boundaries were installed by Ranel Lopez. The area was made over Vickery Village and areas near it and Grayson Pace didn't mind this that much so he allowed it as it wasn't controlling much of his own territory.
Nevida owns Chelonian Church, Ranel's House Territory, Deadian Territory, US Cross Territory and eight other states.
Climate
Nevida has the same climate as Georgia as it is landlocked within the state. This means that Nevida has warm summers and somewhat cold winters. Like Georgia, snow doesn't occur much in Nevida as winters aren't really the coldest in fact if snow does occur it doesn't last much. Summers are really warm, sometimes summers can be too hot that people stay inside their houses which brings less tourists into the nation. Summers and winters are the most devastating times of the year for Nevida as people either are traveling or staying home.
Governance
The politics of Nevida takes place in an absolute elective monarchy, in which the head of the takes power. The pope exercises principal legislative, executive, and judicial power over the Nation of Nevida (an entity distinct from the Holy Cumming), which is a rare case of a non-hereditary monarchy.
