The New Slagery Party is a conservative party in the Slag Democratic Republic, it was set up after the revolution and operates as one of many minor parties which supports incumbent head of state Dieter Bund. The predecessor to the New Slagerny Party is widely considered to be the Christian Union which was one of two major parties during the Confederacy period.
The party currently holds 47 out of the 500 seats in the Volkskammer and is in a coalition with the ruling Slagerny Socialist Party, as well as every other party in the Volkskammer.
