The Northern Transnistrian Moldovan Republic (NTMR), or Northern Transnistria is an independent state but is mostly known as a micronation. It is located on the regions of Ribnita, Dubossari, Camenca and Grigoropol. It's capital city is Rabnita.
History
Transnistrian People's Republic
On 16 June 2017 the Transnistrian People's Republic was established in Ribnita. The country lasted for 3 years until it was succeeded by the modern Northern Transnistrian Moldovan Republic.
Northern Transnistrian Moldovan Republic
On 29 December 2020 the country was reorganized as the NTMR. The country used symbols similar to these of the Russian puppet state of Transnistria, but in 2023 after political reforms of the president Hristo Tomov, the emblem was changed.
