Northudankton Constitution of 2023

The Northudankton Constitution of 2023, or the Second Constitution of Northudankton is the supreme law of the United Micro-Federation of Northudankton. It was drafted on April 21, 2023 and was ratified on April 23, 2023 at exactly 14:07:00 upon the completion of the signing of the document by St. Constance. It instantaneously superseded the Northudankton Constitution of 2016, the nation's first constitution upon its ratification. It was signed by the Kabaar and King Jonathan Freeman, Alex Jackson, Daniel Ellis, Automato Roboto, Eugene Trieye, James Gnomington and Constance Freeman. The signatures of Alex Jackson and Daniel Ellis were done electronically and was printed with the document as they could not attend the Ratification Convention. The document aims to promote the material and spiritual growth and prosperity of the people and establish an everlasting and more perfect society.

Article I defines the United Micro-Federation of Northudankton, its sovereignty over 822,360 square meters of land, and the structure of its government, which is a socialist constitutional monarchy founded by the Kabaar with a King and a Head Cabinet, but also as a democracy with lower leaders that are elected by the civilian population such as District Governors, Community Mayors, and District Sheriffs.

Article II vests all legislative powers in a House of Representatives that is composed of members chosen every year during Public Elections by the People of the two Districts. The House has the power to lay and collect taxes, borrow money, regulate commerce, coin money, declare war, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make rules concerning Captures on Land and Water.

Article III vests all executive powers in a King of Northudankton who is Head General of the Northudankton Military, the Head Cabinet, and the Ministry of the Interior. The King can pass laws by Official Decree after write off by the Head Cabinet and House of Representatives.

Article IV vests the judicial power of the United Federation of Northudankton in one Supreme Court, which extends to all cases in Law and Equity, arising under this Constitution, and the Laws of Northudankton. The Trial of all Crimes is by Jury, and such Trial shall be held in the District where the said Crimes shall have been committed.

Article V specifies that the Kabaar can pass laws any time by Official written, recorded, or documented spoken Decree. The document gets inspiration from other micronational constitutions and from the United States constitution. All individuals to sign and ratify this document are registered citizens of Northudankton and stand by this constitution and its claims of sovereignty. Upon the ratification of this document, the claim of Northudankton’s sovereignty is reestablished in writing and mind for a second time.
