Electoral System

Parliament

The 15 MPs of the Chamber are elected according the D'Hondt proportional system, without any threshold. The lists are open and the voters can select two preferences among the candidates.

Executive Council

The Executive Council is composed by four members, who are elected through the Single transferable vote system

Aftermath

Government formation

On 16 October 2022, the Executive Council elected after three rounds the leader of the FTP-UP Wepe as Prime Minister.
