The capital district, Central Lydon, is governed by the monarch and the High Council. The current monarch is Crown-Princess Anna I; Sir William Tarrant, KCA is the current High Chancellor.
Lydonia is a “sixth world” micronation, scoring 4/12 on the Boodlesmythe-Tallini System and scoring 0.8 out of 5.0 on David's Micronational Potential Index.
History
Establishment of Lydonia
The Principality of Lydonia was established on 30 March 2017 when Anna Tarrant declared herself Crown-Princess. With the support of her brother, William Tarrant, they began the process of nation-building. With Anna's ideals and knowledge of economics, and her brother's knowledge of politics, government, and familiarization with the micronational community they quickly drafted the necessary documents and established a basic national identity. Once they had decided upon a governmental structure, Anna I then appointed her brother to the office of High Chancellor as well as formally Knighting him by awarding him the High Order of Anna.
