Punto de Sal is a Paloman autonomous city surrounded by the United States. Punto de Sal has a land border with the United States and was part of Wendatia until 22 January 2021, when the city's Statute of Autonomy was passed. The Salt River runs along the city making it prone to flooding during the Spring and Summer months.
Spanish and English are the two most widely spoken languages, however Spanish is the official language.

History
Punto de Sal was annexed in late January of 2021 by Paloma after been handed over from Wendatia. Punto de Sal was originally apart of Wendatian state of Pantanal.
Formation
Punto de Sal was formed after it was declared too far to join a province and too small to become a territory. Punto de Sal would become a Autonomous City similar to Ponce and based to be and work like Melilla and Ceuta.
Politics
Since 2021, Punto de Sal has been an autonomous city of Paloma.
Punto de Sal is known officially in Spanish as Ciudad Autónomo de Punto de Sal de Jesús (English: Autonomous City of Punto de Sal), with a rank between a standard Paloman city and an Special administrative region.
Punto de Sal has held elections every four years since 2021, for its 3-seat city council. The leader of its government was the Mayor until the Autonomy Statute had the title changed to the Mayor-President. The current Mayor-President is Martel Sims (CPP). As of 2020, all seats are the Communist Party of Paloma holds all seats.
Due to its small population, Punto de Sal elects only one member of the city council to Represent the city in the Supreme Paloman.
Climate
Punto de Sal has continental climate, meaning that it has cold winters and humid summers. Punto de Sal's climate is unsurprisingly close to that of Chesterfield Township, Michigan.
