Felsenia, officially known as the Republic of Felsenia, is a landlocked micronation located in North America. It claims sovereignty over areas in the United States. It was created after the fall of the Monarchy of Rote Berge and claimed all the former lands of Rote Berge
Felsenia is a unitary parliamentary republic with a President serving as the head of state and a Deputy President serving as the head of government.
Etymology
The name "Felesnia" comes from the German word for rock, "Felsen."
History
Rote Berge
After learning about micronations, the founder, Ethan H., created the Kingdom of Trium Urbium located in Tri-Cities, TN. After a little while, Ethan realized the name sucked and renamed the country to Rote Berge, Red Mountains in German. He would never get anyone else to actually join his micronation so it lied inactive for basically its entire existence.
Early republic
After Rote Berge's inactivity, Ethan reformed the nation in a parliamentary republic, with himself as Prime Minister and his father as President. For the first few months they would be active, but then Felsenia would fall into inactivity, and on the first of December 2023, the Inactivity Clause of the Constitution would be invoked from 1 December 2023 to 1 January 2024. Right before the expiration date of the Inactivity Clause, it would be extended to 10 February 2024.
New constitution
After two months of official inactivity, Felsenia would gain a new constitution, making it a parliamentary republic with and executive presidency.
Politics and government
The government is a parliamentary republic, with a bicameral legislature. The upper house, the Senate, consists of the President of the Senate, and all the cabinet members. The lower house, the House of Assembly, consists of the Speaker of the House, and all the elected lawmakers..

As of 10 February 2024, there are no current political parties.
Law and order
All citizens and visiting tourists are subject to the Criminal Code of Felsenia. So far there have been no crimes committed.
As per the constitution, the law enforcement of Felsenia is split into two different branches, they are the National Police and the Felsenian Prison Service.
Military
The Felsenian Defence Force has two branches, the Felsenian Army and the Felsenian Air Force. It is headed by the Commander in Chief who is also the President.
The current Commander in Chief is The Right Honourable Ethan H. and the current Minister of Defence is vacant.

Economy
Felsenia currently does not have any imports or exports, however it has it's own currency, the Felsenian Dollar. The Felsenian Dollar currently only comes in 1, 5, and 10 dollar notes.
