The Royal Family of Kanindé, also known as the House of Luminia is the royal family of Kanindé. Determined by the constitution the king is "the symbol of the state and constitutional protector of Kanindé guaranteeing the unity of its people." Other members of the Royal Family and the King himself can perform ceremonial and social functions in addition to being members or heads of security forces if they wish and are able.
