The Secessionist Party of Schpecktenia is one of the dominant political parties in the Provincist Republic of Schpecktenia. The SPS focuses on Secession from the United States of America and national identity.
History
Originally, the party was created on 16 January 2023 as the Schpecktenian Libertarian Party. The Second Republic of Schpecktenia was a one-party system, but was abolished after the Two Days War. The party then branched off into the Schpecktenian Moderate Nationalist Party, focusing on moderate-conservatism and nationalism.
Shortly after the Second Dark Times and the recreation of Schpecktenia, the party was reformed as the Ambivalent Party of Schpecktenia. The APS was the strongest political party, focusing on just right-centrism and nationalism. The party wanted a larger government and more national identity.
Upon the reformation of political parties in Schpecktenia, the APS reformed into what it is today, and focused on secessionism, nationalism, but less real-world politics like right-centrism.
Influence in Schpecktenia
Despite this party's importance to the nation, it is frowned upon by some government officials. Today, the SPS has only one supporter in the government. Ruby Specht I herself supports this party in the executive branch.
