Sudbury is a borough of the State of Avon. It was established under the name of the province of Dorimia in the State of Herzetia, shortly following the founding of the Kingdom of Herzetia. Historically, it is the oldest region of Avon after Rochester, and has a population of 5.
Etymology
Sudbury's name comes from the town of Sudbury, Massachusetts, where Chairman Asher Young's ancestors lived in the early 17th century. Two of them were killed in the Sudbury Fight of King Philip's War in the 1670s.
Vexillology
The flag of Sudbury derives inspiration from the flag of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, with the English cross in the top left corner. The color has been changed from red to yellow to represent the yellow, dry grass that covers Sudbury's landscape.
